Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

  • “Physical Products” refers to tangible items that are created on demand and shipped to the customer’s specified address. These products are manufactured in collaboration with our production partners and are dispatched from various fulfillment locations.
  • “Digital Products” refers to digital goods such as e-books, digital art, software, and any other intangible products that are delivered electronically via email or through a download link.
  • “Service” refers to the Website.
  • “Website” refers to Bored Nomad, accessible from [WEBSITE_URL]
  • “You” means the individual accessing the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
  • “Tangible” refers to anything that has a physical form and can be touched. In the context of merchandise or products, tangible items are those that are material and concrete, as opposed to digital or virtual items. For example, a book, a piece of clothing, or a coffee mug are all tangible items because they have a physical presence that you can touch and interact with. On the other hand, digital products like e-books, software, or digital music files are not tangible, as they exist in a digital format and are accessed electronically, without a physical form.
  • “Intangible” refers to something that cannot be physically touched or held because it does not have a physical presence or form. In the context of products or assets, intangible items are those that exist in a non-physical form. Examples of intangible items include digital products like software, e-books, digital music, and online courses.

    Intangible products are accessed or consumed digitally or intellectually, rather than physically. For instance, when you purchase a digital book (an e-book), you receive a file to download and read on an electronic device, as opposed to a physical book that you can hold in your hands. Similarly, services like consulting, design, or programming are considered intangible because they offer value and expertise without a physical product.

How Physical Products are made

For all of Bored Nomad’s “Physical Products,” we use a print partner to print on merchandise and fulfill our items. This allows us to keep overhead low as products are produced on demand. In general, this only takes a couple more days to produce in most cases.

30-Day Return Policy for Physical Merchandise

Our return policy for physical merchandise purchased from Borednomad.com is as follows:

  • Duration: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return for full refund including original shipping.
  • Eligibility: Returns are only applicable for items with defects or damages due to manufacturing.
  • Condition for Exchange: Items must be in their original condition.
  • Proof of Purchase: An original receipt is required for all returns or exchanges.
  • Scope: This policy applies exclusively to physical (tangible) merchandise. Digital Downloads, being intangible, do not qualify as Physical Merchandise and are therefore not eligible for return or refund.

Eligibility for Refunds

  • Time Frame: Refunds are available for physical products within 30 days from the date of receipt by the customer.
  • Condition for Refund: Refunds will be issued only for products that are damaged due to manufacturing errors. This includes issues like defective materials or workmanship.
  • Proof of Damage: To process a refund, evidence of the damage (such as photographs) may be required to support the claim of manufacturing defects.
  • Case-by-Case Consideration: We understand that unique situations can arise. Therefore, some exceptions to our standard refund policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis. In these instances, our customer service team will work closely with the customer to reach a fair and satisfactory resolution.

  2. Evaluation: Our team will evaluate the refund request based on the provided information and may request additional details or evidence of the product’s condition.
  3. Outcome: Once the evaluation is complete, we will inform the customer of the decision regarding the refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment.

Additional Information

  • Shipping Costs: In cases where a refund is granted, the cost of return shipping may be the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise determined by the specific circumstances of the case.
  • Duties and Taxes for International: Please be aware that when processing refunds for any returned items, Bored Nomad does not cover international duty fees and taxes. These charges are typically determined and imposed by customs authorities in the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer. Therefore, in the event of a refund, the amount returned to you will be for the purchase price of the item only with original shipping cost; it will not include any international duty fees and taxes that you may have paid. We recommend that customers consider these potential additional costs when making international purchases.
  • Refund Processing Time: Please allow a certain number of days for the refund to be processed and credited back to your account. The exact time frame may vary depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

30 Day Exchange Policy for Physical Products

Our exchange policy for physical merchandise purchased from Borednomad.com is as follows:

  • Eligibility: Exchanges are applicable for any reason within the duration of 30 days from purchase date. Only for an item of the same or lesser value.
  • Condition for Exchange: Items must be in their original condition.
  • Proof of Purchase: An original receipt is required for all returns or exchanges.
  • Scope: This policy applies exclusively to physical (tangible) merchandise. Digital Downloads, being intangible, do not qualify as Physical Merchandise and are therefore not eligible for exchange.

We don’t ship to some countries because of legal restrictions or shipping carrier limitations. 

The list of restricted countries may change depending on world events, but for now, we don’t ship to the following destinations

Digital Products

When you buy digital products from us, such as PDF downloads, ebooks, digital assets, online courses and online materials, please be aware of these key points:

  • Digital products are intangible and are deemed “used” once downloaded.
  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any digital download products.

Delivery of Digital Products

These products are sent to the email address provided by the customer at the time of purchase.
